On the way into the exhibition. |
The Manet exhibition was absolutely wonderful. Manet's paintings are so beautiful his use of light around the face and the soft colours in the background. His paintings were hung on a very dark grey walls which brought out the best light and colour in his paintings. In another part of the exhibition the walls are painted a dark bottle green which also enhanced his paintings and the stunning frames his paintings were encased in. The exhibition was so busy it was difficult to get to see each individual painting but with a bit of patience and a bit of pushing and shoving I managed to see them all. It's an exhibition I would recommend to everybody to go and see, as the standard of his art is magnificent. Below I have managed too source images of the Manet exhibition for my blog.
